'Joe' is homozygous for the black gene, which means he will never produce a sorrel/chestnut foal regardless of the color of the mare he is bred to!
Joe is a very easy breeder. He can be handled with a cotton lead for live cover. He has a 100% conception rate with two covers.
To date, he has produced 73% color and 67% fillies. All but two of his foals are grullo; the others are dun and black.
He has a very quiet and gentle disposition, which he passes on to his offspring. Joe's babies have height, color, and are naturally well muscled.
